Every since last May 2016, when NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, started to allow an easier approval process, Out Of State, Condo Projects, can now, market and advertise here, in NYC. The main reason for the non allowance of Out of State marketing, was due to the high rate of Real Estate scammers, and the laws on the books were mainly to protect NY Consumers, from being victimized, trying to purchase properties, in other states.
Since last year, 41 new Out of State Development Projects, have been allowed to market and advertise their properties here in NYC. Some states have reciprocity laws for existing Brokerages. Check the state of your choice, to see if it’s allowed.
